I talked to my mom who was worried about my brother because he wasn't answering her e-mails. I called my brother today. He answered, which is good. He goes through this stuff with my mom and the tone of her posts. There was this picture up on Facebook where he was drinking a glass of wine. My mother told me "I saw the picture and he was ( Read more... )

This has been going on for awhile and my mother always initiates it. I get similar responses from my brother every time and can really only tell my mom an edited version of what' s going on. I really wish my brother would just find a way to tell her without hurting her feelings. I don't even want to touch on that issue with my mother.

Yes, Nebris, my mother's FetLife behavior. It's a big thing for my brother. I think I'm allowed to put what I want in my journal. Maybe you don't like to read my journal, and I know you come at your journal in a different way than I am. I don't always get yours. The one time I kind of said so, we know what happened. So where is this coming from?

Chill out, hunny bunny. I'm a FetLifer myself. That just amused me, that's all.

What's she into btw. ;)

Oh, did I say FetLife? Yes, that would have been confusing. No, I meant Facebook. I'm sure my mother has never heard of FetLife.
I apologize for getting upset with you. I obviously messed up with what I was saying. No, the whole family isn't on Fetlife; I'd imagine it's just me.

my parents have facebook. My dad comments on nearly everything I say needless to say I often don't say much or I block them from seeing it. However they also have their friends who freinded me so sometimes can be a nightmare trying to figure out who I need to stop from seeing something I don't want my parents to see so its just easier not to say anything.

I know what you're talking about. I have to leave things off Facebook, too. That's why sometimes, I really need LJ.

In that case I'd recommend you make posts like this one Friends Only. =)

Oh, yeah. That'd be a good idea. My mother isn't on LJ. Neither is my brother. But yeah, changing the settings would be a good idea.
