story time

Well, school is in again, and my first day was today.  I had to get up at seven, which is hard for me because I typically go to sleep around 3 and get up around 12.  I didn't get much sleep last night, but I suppose my schedule will adjust to getting up early Tuesdays and Thursdays, eventually anyways.  My class was childrens literature and it ( Read more... )

Heya! I did a children's lit course at uni.

I duno if its useful but if you have to do coursework or anything here's a good book that I used alot :

Hmmmmmmm,
Reckon books that affected me were: Watership Down, Noughts and Crosses, The curious incident of the dog in the night-time, Goggle eyes, Charlotte's web (thats a good one actually for coping with death at a young age)....Carrie's war.

I cant think of many more but Il let you know

I know I read Charlotte's Web, which was a good book, though i don't know that it really affected me persay.

I seem to remember Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. Also Narnia. Watership Down, and I think Bunnicula (I think it was called that).

Yes, Narnia is a movie I really like and the book is the first one we have to read for class, I am excited because he says it is much different than the movie. I have heard of the first book, but not the other ones. Bunnicula sounds cute, though, about a vampire bunny I am guessing?

It is kind of different than the movie. That seems right about Bunnicula. I seem to remember it drained carrots of juice so they would be white.
