The fog has lifted but it's been overcast all day. This weekend it was 80 freaking degrees! It was a fab slice of summer and it might've been the last one before the next 9 months of drizzle. Fog + drizzle = what I hate. Why do I insist on living in Seattle? Yes, it's beautiful and yes everything is green because it's so moist but that's also why ( Read more... )

a place to be lezmo September 30 2003, 11:01:17 UTC
I think hawaii might be a place to live. Talk about aromatherapy....the smells of the tropical flowers are literally heaven on earth!!! And the weather, the scenery, the wildlife, the tourists. Okay, the tourists suck. We would have to move to a less populated island. And speaking of places to live, I mentioned to Evan about the Bellingham idea and she got all excited. She wants to move up there with us and keeps bringing it up! Wow, who would have thunk it!

Your doll photo scares me. And yet that is why I love it.

Omigod, that's so cool that Evan likes the Bham idea as well. We could migrate a whole community of our friends and family up there at this rate! And here's another idea I haven't really presented to anyone yet - have you ever heard how much less rain the San Juans and surrounding areas like Anacortes/Port Townsend/Port Ludlow get? They get like 1/2 the rain we do - they're in the "rain shadow." If we DID live in the island area, we could still get to Bham within 1/2 an hour or so. Just something to think about...!

I like the sound of that.....rain shadow. That is the name of the new band I am starting cuz i like the name so much. `Live, in concert...please welcome Rain Shadow!` But seriously, i like the idea of the island area cuz less rain is good rain and also Lance is not a big fan of moving back to Bellingham. :-(

...having his own opinions and preferences...! Well, sometimes I wonder why I'm a big fan of Bellingham when they get even more rain than WE do! So, yeah, that whole rain shadow thing sounds really appealing. I did look at some houses in the Anacortes area yesterday and their housing is not exactly cheap - I think the secret's out!
