Wait, you love Duncan, too? We are meant to be! Duncan fans are rare. Few people can see past his bouts of blandness to his goofy, lovable side.
I like that Duncan -- and not Jake, Keith or Logan -- took care of Aaron so Veronica was safe & Logan didn't have to make that decision. I added this after you commented: Do you think Kendall was in on it, or just happened to be there?
Actually, I'm glad you got me on that thought track. I might've been a bit more "OMG, RT, WTF?!" otherwise :)
Yay, another Duncan lover! Now my love doesn't seem so freakish. I can't quite explain why I like him, other than he's a lovable dork. And though I should've known he would take care of Aaron, I didn't see it coming. I initally thought Kendall would poison Aaron. After marrying him, of course.
I knew it was going to be Beaver from all the TWOP speculations, but OMG they blew my mind with the almost death of Keith. I missed the first half of the show, so missed the whole Lily dream sequence. Oh, and I squeed big time at the return of Clarence Weidman. Hee, CW.
I knew they wouldn't kill Keith. No spoilers or spec, just a gut feeling. Plus, they need at least one decent father in Neptune ;)
Whoa, you missed the dream sequence?! I hope you're not spoiled for certain details in it. Go d/l & watch it now!
What's weird is that I saw Christopher Duncan's name in the credits, but didn't think he'd show up & take out Aaron. I figured he'd talk to Keith & V and disappear again.
I was freaking about the possibilities of no Haaron and Keith for season 3. That would have been just too much. So, is Lamb toast? No frigging way. Please. I want Lamb and Cliff and Haaron and Lily to be around. I could do without Kendall or Woodman. Oh, and return of Mommy Sneerest would be good too. Bu dude .. why LoVe again? Why does she keep going back to him. He will always be a jerk.
Dude, that "jerk" trusted his instinct & responded to a text message from an unknown number, saved Veronica's life, made sure she got home safely and took care of her & comforted her, all while pushing aside his feelings about his dad's verdict.
Ha ha! I feel like I have been rewarded for my ongoing Beaver-hate! I am so not into insecure "quiet guys" who have to treat the people who actually like them like shit to make up for their shortcomings. Buh-bye, Beav! Whooo!
In other news, yes, the scoobiness of it was a little contrived, like maybe too many things needed tying together there at once. I would have liked to have seen Beav's evil plotting ways carried through between when we first caught a glimpse of his schemes with Not!Cordelia right through to the end of the season.
He's a total psycho, but I love that little Sal Mineo/Lil Flash to death. (Heh, apparently so.) I'm glad we didn't get the obligatory shot of his body on the sidewalk.
So are we to assume that Beaver & Kendall were going to run away together with that $8 million? Or, in my half-watching of the mid-season eps, did I miss something that cleared it up?
OMG, The CW (or whatever they're gonna call it) will be the best guilty pleasure network ever! Think of all the crazy crossovers they could make. Three words: Winchesters in Neptune.
Sorry, I took another vacation back to RL & got so much stuff done. I haven't been this productive since high school. Anyway, are you kidding about The CW, or you really don't know? (I know our networks don't "work" up there, but I didn't know if news of the WB/UPN merger had.)
This episode was like a sleeping bag you'll never be able to roll up and fit back into its sleeve.
Hee, yes!! It's almost a week later & I'm still processing what happened (& feeling more & more irritated by it). I was explaining the finale to a coworker & he said, "Wait, all of that wa revealed in 42 minutes?"
I didn't like the "you raped me and gave me The Clap!" thing either. Not like the bus crash wasn't personal enough for Veronica to be involved, right? Plus, it's annoying when the villain, who's supposed to be an evil genius, lays out the entire evil plan instead of killing & moving on. Not that I wanted Veronica to die...
One good thing did come from that ep: DUNCAN RULES!

I especially enjoy that Rob had him arrange the hit, and deliver the subliminal CW line.
Please feel free to check out my post episode babbling: http://users.livejournal.com/bliss_/169438.html We're basically on the same wavelength.
