Happy Belated Birthdays to one and a half of my favorite Canadians, mamafunny2000 and bigboobedcanuck!!!

Kristen is probably the first person I met on LJ, back when I was new to QaF and still shy about renting gay softcore porn. We've since become great friends, and I owe my knowledge of Gale Harold's whereabouts and the births of gigantic celebrity babies to her ( Read more... )

music, cw, happy birthday!, free stuff!, tvbfs, work, bb7, weird shit

Oh dude .. Fleetwood Mac! I love their fucked up angsty music. I love Gold Dust Woman especially. Stevie does the crazy coked angst really well. I also love 'Chains'.

Sorry, I got sidetracked with work-related stuff. Plus, my right arm is killing me.

Honestly, I'm not a huge Mac fan other than Rumours. But if I were to ever again sing/yell a song at an ex during drunken karaoke, it'd be "Go Your Own Way." It's meaner than Violent Femmes' "Kiss Off." Lindsey went for the jugular!

have I missed anything? I've been busy attempting to sort myself out

Hmm .. I need to recheck the lyrics of both the songs. And see which one works better. Rumours is the best damn angsty dysfunctional relationship album ever. I practically love every song in that.

depends on what news you're looking for. non-fandom coolers related is lots of stuff

I know! I thought, the guys bored. Let him eat the damn bag of chips without getting on his case. He is NOT fat. They should rerun episodes of Season 5, with whats-her-face in it. The NY girl, who all in love with "Bob". Yeah, there's nothing wrong with Howie. Except he's depressed over Will's rejection. Boo hoo.

It was nice of Danielle to pull Howie aside for that talk, but holy crap, it's not like he's eating himself to death. If Howie's fat, then what is Chicken George? What really pisses me off are the bitches who call Janey fat. They're curves, Erika! BTW, that hag has no room to criticize Janey's looks. She needs a good skin cream to try to turn back the clock. And Marci... I've lost all love for him.

I'd love to find out that Dr. Will & Howie are secretly BFFs, or see James get evicted on Thursday & watch Danielle's face drop. Wow, I'm feeling a little mean today ;)

"Back in Black" is awesome. the first riff is just...legendary!!

My favorite Fleetwood Mac songs are the ones where Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham attack one another.
oh hells yeah!

"GDW" are equally mean and cathartic Breaking up never felt so good.
have to disagree with you a little bit here, my friend. i'd argue that GDW is actually about her breaking up with crack. literally. "take your silver spoon, and dig your grave." "Rulers make bad lovers
You better put your kingdom up for sale". um, heh, yeah. it's an addict's song.

but in terms of them breaking up, you really cannot beat Stevie's "Sliver Springs"..."And can you tell me...was it worth it....?
Baby, I don't wanna know.." i mean, ouch.

I'm so close to getting a "Back in Black" ringtone, it's not funny. Though it'll probably sound better than "The Final Countdown."

See, I've heard both stories about "GDW." Stevie told Courtney Love that she definitely referred to cocaine. (Courtney interpreted the spoon as an allusion to heroin.) Lindsey thinks it's about him, while Stevie thinks it's about more than coke. But dude, the "rulers" line is the best lyric ever. I wonder if it's her response to the "packing up, shaking up" line?

I love "Silver Springs," but Lindsey's shouting/singing gets me every time. Plus, I'm feeling kind of mean lately. I think it's all the tourists and One Ocean View (cancel it now!).

BTW, the Supernatural DVDs are out next month. Are you credited anywhere?

I can't imagine how crowded it is near your building. Well, I'm afraid to imagine it, really. There's tourists everywhere I go, even in Gardena! It seems like there's more this summer than the last three. I keep trying to go to Sephora near your work, but the tourists will not stay off the road at rush hour. I'll e-mail you when I think I'll be in the area & we can meet :)

Thank you! I take it I'm the half Canadian! I think I need a t-shirt with that on it. It would make my mommy so happy!

OMG, are you serious? I totally thought that you were a veteran LJ'r/QAF fan when we met. I guess we've never really talked about it - that I remember (that's not saying much, I can't remember what I ate for lunch...)

I get to drive past a billboard with Tom Welling's face on it every day. Seriously, he's like the prettiest man ever
You are making Gale and Randy cry! Take it back!

Hope tonight is a better night for you and that you get to work on a show with naked gay guys on it. (you can always dream, right?)

OMG, you so need that shirt! Or one that says, "Half Canadian, Half Insane American."

I'd watched a few eps of QaF (when I found the first d/l group), but I was mostly an LJ lurker. I knew how they worked but I didn't get one for awhile. Don't worry about not remembering. My body clock is still off from vacation, so I think today is Tuesday. Crap, I really wish it were Tuesday.

Aww, but Gale & Randy can find comfort in each other's arms! Poor Tommy only has gawking commuters & random fangirls. (It's not in a big SV-fan area; he's the loneliest, gayest billboard around.) I had to bite the inside of my mouth today so I wouldn't laugh. I want to take a pic of it but it's not lit at night, so no idea how that'll work.

OMG, I just want the reality shows to stop. I'm tired of captioning fights with bad audio, or crocheting/knitting shows (seriously, it's called Uncommon Threads). Tonight, it's Laguna Beach promos & an AFHV reformat. Ugh. It's still better than last night.

Purely by coincidence Brody and I watched half of Cheaper By the Dozen 2 tonight. So I willing to say that TW is kinda pretty.

FuckityFuckFuck I keep forgetting to ask. How do I use SheLaq? It keeps taking my eyeliner off! I've looked on the Sephora site and on the Benefit site and they don't have in-depth instructions. (I guess they just assume I'll ask you) I will anxiously await your guidance, kthnx.

Uncommon Threads? It's really a knitting show? And people watch it? That's...interesting. I've flipped past a quilting show before. snoooooooze

Better go get B out of the shower. OMG he is the loudest kid on the planet! We've started calling him foghorn, because, seriously, he is just freakin' loud.

Dude, you have to see half-naked TW on SV or taking a shower in The Fog. (That one can be watched on mute.) He's just pretty enough that he's not effeminate but totally hot. (Just ignore the hiatus pics where he looks like a yeti.) Don't make me post a pic spam on the ABC's of Tom Welling's hotness ( ... )

I can likely only commit to one or two episodes a night - but as long as we are watching at roughly the same time, that's good enough for me.

I was looking at BCBG dresses today, wondering what we will see Lorelai in this season. I just love her clothes - although I wish she would wear more cute t-shirts again.

I hope you are having a better night today.

Have you tried/smelled this? So good. And eek, the Sephora site wouldn't open...

I actually got up to 208 today, or whatever is after the ep where Jess dresses exactly like Luke. I still love Dean more, but I do like Jess.

The rewatching makes me nostalgic for Lorelai's cute t-shirts, too. I even miss the sparkly hoodie that used to be Rachel's. But I'm so envious of dressed-up Lorelai's wardrobe that I'll overlook the loss of the tees :)

Thanks. Work is better, but it's not great. At least I have time to relax & eat dinner.

Ooh, I love apple-scented shampoos. (Remember old school Salon Selectives?) I've been using no frizz-products for so long that I wonder if it'll make my hair crazier than normal. And eek! I just tried Sephora & the page is blank :( I still need to go & get that Nars blush, so I'll check out the Philosphy stuff, too.

I'm way behind on commeting & reading. I'll try to catch up this week. And I saw the PB pics you posted. Wenty's wearing that same suit in the new promo. Mmm, boys in suits.

Random thought about the least-secret spoiler ever: the Logans will be related.
