It is beautiful out. A little humid and a few degrees too warm, but I could definitely settle for this the rest of the summer. Worked 8 hours today and then spent the late afternoon / early evening with Matt. We sat outside on his steps for a while. I finished my first year of college. It went by fast, almost too fast. My mom and her friend are on their way down to spend the weekend and bring me home Monday. But Monday couldn't come fast enough. I hope the summer is amazing. I will be working at the MoPho (starting this Wednesday), taking two courses until the end of June, and relaxing. ( Read more... )

I am so excited. Matthew said he was going to send me a big, empty box. I seriously thought he would. It was supposed to get to DC on Friday and I was disappointed when I didn't get a package slip Friday or Saturday. My roommate got rejected by Chapel Hill last year and I got waitlisted. We started a UNC hate club and even have a sign on our door. She applied to transfer this spring and she just found out she got in. Don't get me wrong, I am really happy for her because it is an amazing school and opportunity. I am happy. Things have gotten better. School is looking awesome this semester. I kept 4 A's and a B last semester, which is important with my scholarship. I may be 214 miles from my boyfriend, but we haven't been this close in a while. I am truely happy with him and our relationship.
