So...a lot has happened since the last time I updated. I followed Baron's advice and called the Drexel Counseling Center to help me deal with whatever evil is growing inside me. And apparently that evil is so dangerous that the counselor wants to see me on a weekly basis. It's nothing I can't deal with, I mean, I saw a psychiatrist when I was much ( Read more... )

Briggsycakes, I think you'll be okay. Weekly therapy was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I'm all not-quite-as-crazy now and shit. Next time you come up to see John, you should swing by Columbia.

A good additional form of therapy is reading any book by Don Miguel Ruiz. Really. Try it. Like, soon. Trust me.

Don't worry about drinking on weekends. Drinking is over-rated. People just end up stupid and sick.

You should stick to more natural highs - healthy exercise, and eating well. What many people don't realize is that activities like jogging and eating healthily can actually have stronger, longer-lasting effects on your average endorphine levels.

And sex. Sex is a good one; everyone loves sex.

Yeah, but when you're drunk, you're cool and people laugh at you. If someone laughed at me during sex, I'd probably punch them.

Which is usually what I threaten to do to people when I'm drunk.
