Today we removed the conditions on the offer to purchase our new home and although I was relieved to know that our purchase was now official, my heart broke a little too.  This was our first home, we welcomed three new babies here, I gave birth here twice, I've spent 13 of our 21 years of my marriage here, we've seen Kim grow from a gap-toothed 7

We had Violette cremated for that reason alone, I couldn't think of one day moving somewhere and not (in a macabre sense, now that I think of it) have her with us.

I'm sorry this is all so bittersweet for you. :(

At the time, cremating seemed like an awful idea to me but now I'm kind of wishing we'd done it.

Oh Janice, I don't know what to say other than I am thi king of you constantly and I wish I could take it all off your shoulders for you for even just a few minutes. I am so excited for you, for all the New in your life because I k ow it will be wonderful, but I can feel how hard it must be to move. This isn't just a move, I know.
