I'm glad Chloe realized what he was trying to do for her in the desert and went to protect him in the end. It doesn't mean he's forgiven or that everything's forgotten. They've got a long road ahead. But at least she knows he really cares for her, and in turn, she's realized that she still cares about him too.

Clark and Chloe are finally on the road to healing and Clark's being so damn mature that I'm quite proud of him.

I actually had to stop reading and change tabs when I got to the part where Clark told Chloe he was turning himself in...
I didn't think that Clark putting on the red-k ring and taking Chloe to the desert helped any but it looks like it did... Chloe finally realized that she was teetering on a dangerous path and now she completely knows she's no longer afraid of Clark or Kal.
I am proud that Clark is willing to turn himself in. I wonder what his reaction will be to finding Chloe waiting for him at the police station.
Oh ho Papa Kent was pissed.
Can't wait for more.
