I can't tell if it's just because I'm bitter or the type of person I am but I totally agree with you. This is just so major. I usually don't read rape fics because I have a hard time accepting that it can ever be OK.
I don't care if it's Red-K Clark or Souless Angel it just doesn't work for me.
That being said I'm sticking with this story because I want to see where Dee takes it.

Chloe's panic attack at Clark's presence was spot on, and I don't blame her for running from him, but now he's back in the room and wanting to talk to her.
I have a feeling she has some Kryptonite in her pocket--is she going to use it on him?

Awesome update Dee, Poor Chloe :( it's heartbreaking what has happened to her and what's to come with her and Clark. I can't wait for you next update Dee.
....that was really really a nice update! the way you explained chloe's panic attack was like watching it live, i had tears in my eyes becuase i started to feel her pain. I can't wait for more, especially if she actually lets him talk to her!

The entire day was just dedicated to trying to see the beauty in every single thing in Seattle. I'm so conflicted... what Clark did is absolutely unforgivable, but at the same time, I cannot help but feel sorry for him. So far, this has made for an awesome story.
And right now I'm totally head/desking because I just realized I'm now probably the only Chlark fanfic writer who hasn't got a Red K!Summer fic. FAAAAIL. One of my fics is kind of similar to this one in nature... but it's set after Crimson instead of during the Red K!Summer. Hrm. I need to finish that trilogy. It's been too damn long.

I can understand your pain there. It's been almost three years since I wrote Addicted, and I just haven't found myself in the right mindspace to write the sequel, which is... probably gonna be even more twisted than the original, just minus the... sexual aspect of it. The evol plot bunny I had for you... not exactly nasty, but it's pretty messed up. I'm mean that way. I tend to abuse my muses, if Addicted is any indication. :\
