I've been watching your world from afar
I've been trying to be where you are
And I've been secretly falling apart

You turn every head but you don't see me
He was sitting in his Impala for hours now. It’s not that he wasn’t already used to it but generally he was driving and listening to Metallica's songs as sound as possible. But now he was here, in the black night, in the silence, watching those lights in front of him, listening to the white and pure snowflakes falling on the darkness of his life.
He shouldn’t stay here; it was not for the better. But he just couldn’t take his eyes away from that lightened window where he can see a pretty blond woman laughing in the arms of that tall and goofy man, a ridiculous but sweet smirk playing on his lips.
He came to be sure he did the good choice, which by leaving he got what he wanted more: his freedom and happiness. Now that he can see with his own eyes that the boy, now a man, was the happiest person in the world, smiling and laughing amongst those people, brightened by all those Christmas illuminations, drinking champagne standing near the big and green Christmas tree, he should leave.
His brother was happy and certainly surrounded by lovely people - the family he never truly had, the one he always wished for, happy for the first time at Christmas like he deserves. And here he was, alone in his impala, alone for the first time of his life at Christmas. He never really dreamt of a big Christmas, because he knew he wouldn’t have one; no Christmas tree or illuminations or great presents but he had him, his baby brother always near him and he was his most beautiful present ever. He touched the necklace he wore around the neck, a present his brother could never gave them father and gave him instead, he would never take it off.
Sammy was happy. Nothing should be more important. He’s always asked for his brother's happiness, nothing more, now he just thought he could have counted himself in this happy equation. He found the courage, at least, to start up the car and was gone for another hunt before thinking twice, leaving behind him his happiness.
