To be fair, there was that one time we were assaulted by that road rage guy in with the broken leg in the church parking lot..
but yeah, other than that cops in lo are pretty much reserved for making sure no one under 18 is at taco bell past midnight, no kids are an any kind of roller device ANYWHERE, and pulling over old cars to make the poor pay ticket fines

And of course generally harassing teenagers.
