I'm tired of this aging crap.   Bonnie's stepdad finds out tomorrow if his throat cancer has spread, Mom is moving into a memory care unit tomorrow, our friend Dave just lost his second leg to diabetes.

(I had to have my first hubby's cat, Lucy, put down within the last year. She was in her late teens and creaky with age, and the added embroilment that she was the last thing of Dwayne's to pass didn't help much.

My mother has advanced dementia, to the point she can't read, barely speaks, has lost her sense of taste and smell, doesn't recognize her children, is incontinent, etc.
She lives with my father, who suffers from depression, but refuses to get any medication or assistance.
