On Saturday 2nd July, it was the 4th anniversary of their leaving Takarazuka, if you can believe it.

Indeed it's already been 4 years. How time flies! I still remember being there on sayonara day....crazy, crazy 2 days ;)

Funny how the World Cup coincides 4 years ago and now! lol

Oh wow, I didn't realise you were there for those days! I went much earlier, towards the last days of the daigekijo run, so by the time July came I had already said my goodbyes and was just waiting for the inevitable.

But happy days now! I'd never dared to hope we'd still be able to see Taka-Hana four years later! :D

I saw NSG twice in June, as it was impossible to get any ticket for July because of the sayonara shows. I remember being there around the last week of June to see my friends line up in tachimi. I didn't watch the show that day, but showed up for irimachi. I saw a random caucasian lady line up tachimi too- could that have been you?? lol ^_^;

That wouldn't have been me, because I saw NSG in April in Takarazuka. It might have been wao_wao, though, as I know she was there around that time...

France lost to Italy in the final, but that was a week later. On 1st July, France beat Brazil in the quarter final, and people were going nuts in the streets. :)

Course France have won Most Abject Team this World Cup. Well done. *applause*

You're very kind, but we've been awful. I was at work during our last match and listening to the radio. At some point, the journalist commented: "If you are listening to this broadcast consider yourself lucky, because you can't see what's going on".

He was so true...when I've watched bits of the match on youtube it looked like the video of Thriller. The zombie part ;_;

Hehe, I have a hunch faux_semblant was being a bit tongue-in-cheek when she said that France and Italy had been wonderful... They were both terrible, though I think France hit rock bottom with their squabbling team and the subsequent ludicrous nation-wide drama.

Which is bizarre, after the last World Cup, but there you go. :)
