Oh my God, Melissa. That was an emotional roller coaster. I think I went from crying to laughing at least three times!

Thank you for sharing the story! I can't wait to see more pictures :)

*love*

I'm uploading more now! :) Thanks for reading it! It was longer than I expected it to be. It's amazing how something that just took a few hours can bring so many thoughts to the forefront!

Well done, you! oxytocinsarah September 5 2008, 05:55:56 UTC
Oh man I got so worked up reading that, haha. A lot of it reminded me of Arianna's birth story, mainly how annoying it was to be ignored when I arrived because no one thought I was in labor and all of the unwarranted touching. Seriously, you get SO FAR on your own and as soon as you walk through those hospital doors, they think you can't possibly do it without them.

Rob is is seriously one of the most photogenic dads in the world, haha. Every time I see a picture of him with his kids, I can see the love he has for them. I still remember a picture where he had a similar look on his face when Hannah was born :)

He is a photogenic daddy and it's so truthful. He's a sweet sweet man and I'm so thankful for him. He loves all his girls! (All 5 of us including the dogs!)

A friend of mine was asking about how I felt after giving birth naturally. She wants to do but doesn't think it makes that much of an impact.

I don't know. My bond and love with Liam is SO incredible. I love Pace and Canyon, but Liam .. I don't know. Something IS different and I KNOW it is because of my birth experience with him.

It is just an all around amazing feeling.

You're right... something is different. It's not more or less love... it's not about love. It's just a connection - something that only one that experienced it can understand.

But I also think having a medicated birth to compare it to helps too.
