Hey Ladies. I just joined. I'm due in December. I have 2 friends that swear by Babywise. One says it teaches the child that it's part of a unit and that the world doesn't revolve around it. Well, the day I feared the worst will be coming within a 2-3 mos period at most. I just don't quite get it. Every time I put James down on the couch or lay him on the floor on a mat or towel or whatever, he stares at the ceiling fan with a goofy look on his face. Like he's being hypnotized by the motion and the bright lights. Do all babies go through this phase where the ceiling fan is far more interesting than anything else, ( Read more... )

A little update on Beebs' feeding rituals. We have finally eliminated the spitting and boy, am I happy! Suddenly, he is such a little piggy. He used to only be able to eat a bite or two of food after his bottle, but these past few days, he drinks his whole bottle, eats one serving of rice cereal and then a whole jar of food!
