Birthday Wishlist!

Okay, so my birthday is here in a month and a half, so I thought I'd go ahead and make up a list of what I'd like. Shopping will be easy on you this time; all I want are books. I've gone ahead and done most of the work in finding them for you :)

In order of preference:

1) Before They Are Hanged by Joe Abercrombie. Buy it here.

Warbreaker isn't worth owning. Just so you know. It might be worth reading once, but it was rather a letdown overall...

I'm buying it more for research purposes. I've read some of the preliminary drafts and I want to see how the final product emerges. Plus, even in the early drafts, Brandon's characterization and character development were great. I want to study it more than read it.

I'm curious to know what you think of the final version then. Nathan was of the opinion that the two princesses who start out so drastically different both end up curbing their extremist personality traits to become pretty similar. And personally, I really hated the older one, she whined too much and thus spoiled scenes.
