This is going to be short. Our computer is stuck in what Microsoft calls the auto-recovery loop. Windows 8.1, in its infinite wisdom, has taken trouble shooting out of the hands of the user and given it to an automated program that begins at startup. On the Sadism of Modern Medicine, the Joys of Being a Dad, and Seeing a Light at the End
I'm hoping to write this in one sitting, but having toddlers, that's not always possible. As I was typing that first sentence, Logan (my oldest son) brought me several glasses of make believe "soda-milk" to drink, so my assessment was more than accurate, presentient even. And presentient *is* a word. ( LiveJournal's spellcheck can suck it.. ) -

Progress!
Okay, so it's been a little while since my last entry, but I thought I'd update again. Here's how things are progressing:
I have four chapters written for Oathbound! Huzzah! The book is coming along nicely; I have it almost completely outlined, or at least outlined enough that I can write it with little pause to figure out where the story is ( Read more... ) -
Writing
So while I have not been posting on my live journal, that does not mean I have not been writing, 'cause I have. I've recently revised a short story and submitted it to the Writers of the Future contest. First prize for the contest is $1000, second prize is $750, and third prize is $500.
