The Consenting Adult Action Network have organised a protest on the eve of the "extreme" porn ban commencing.

Sunday 25 January, 2pm-5pm opposite Parliament. (The protest has permission from the police and the Greater London Authority.)

The Consenting Adult Action Network are a new group formed in opposition to the criminalisation of "extreme porn". This week, they protested in London against the law.

They have a statement for which they are looking to collect as many supporters as possible, so please sign it and spread the word.

Time is running out to write to the Lords - the extreme porn clauses will be debated on 21, 23 and/or 30 April, and the Government wants the Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill to be law by 8 May. Please spread the word :)

The extreme porn bill is currently being debated in the House of Lords. The law passed through the third reading of the House of Commons without time for debate, but is receiving criticism in the Lords. • the threshold no longer requires "disabling" injury;
• even though classified works aren't covered, an extract from a classified work can fall under the law;
