I've always been the happy single girl. I'm a fairly autonomous person and being single is easy for me. I've never understood people who always need a significant other in their lives, as I see that as a type of dysfunctional co-dependency. But to each, her own.

I'm not really where I want to be in life or better said, I'm not where I imagined I'd be at this age. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I feel the pressure to accomplish a lot more before I'm 40 and that's not so far away.

I haven't written in this journal since I was in my twenties. (Gasp!) I'm 34 now, so that said, it's been a hot minute. I won't fill in the details of what's been going on in my life since I was last here, except for having graduated college a few years ago, found a job, and had to grow up. Life goes on.
