On Saturday I attended the annual PSC sufferers meeting at the John Radcliff Hospital in Oxford. My journey there by train was drawn-out by a succession of delayed services. Such is travel by rail at the weekend

I went through a stage of defining myself by my illness. But that got old, so I quit. I don't really see myself as a support group type person. Life's too short for that.
And yeah, I feel the same connection about you and all the people I met and friended on LJ thanks to shared illnesses. For all we know, there IS a parallel universe where neither of us are burdened by disease yet somehow, we're friends. :)
