The messiness is surely her way of expressing the clear principle that giving any child (or indeed, anyone at all) a korma is a human rights abuse. She should surely be allowed a nice curry like a good balti.
Of course, it will be easier to express this when she can do so in words rather than having to use passive resistance techniques.
Sadly I appear to have given birth to a lightweight who cries at the merest hint of chilli, so I have to start with the insipid curries and hope she'll work her way up to something with flavour!
I found that daughter was a mic tidier eater than spoon fed babies. (We did BLW). Big advice would be to invest in two or three bibs with sleeves and a dozen of the cheapest flannels you can find. It'll save you a fortune on wipes and washing! Good luck
Rather than a plastic tablecloth, we got several metres of plastic coated material, so we could cut it to size and use the rest for painting, water, cornflour and all the other fun messy stuff.
I doubt Vince likes her more, Lindsay at work said her 2nd kid was in her option an ugly kid until toddle age when it grew into its appearance and had a growth spurt. She said that anyone who says that if you don't find you kid beautiful all the time then you don't care as much is talking bull. She adored her kid and it was her world but it also had bug eyes and a body too big for his head for a few years.
I hope gran progresses with her food to allow mum some kicking nerds time.
