like a little girl on the first day of school

here i come warm weather. me and my shockingly white legs will be seeing you soon.

The best thing I could hope for has arrived too late
and I'm left here dazed, nursing a headache

parting is such sweet sorrow, that i shall say goodnight till it be morrow.

I'm tired of censuring myself. At the risk of losing many friends, I have to stop always worrying about whose toes I'm stepping on. I have to quit putting others so far ahead of myself that i forget to dress my own wounds.

I have to stand up. It's my time.

I woke up early this morning, and it made me proud to think that I might actually accomplish something today. Especially when I'm alone, I find it easy to sleep in forever. how unusual for me to be in a cheery mood on a bitterly cold day!

this must be something meaningful

my dog is sick though. i took him to the vet. it was our fourth trip in the last two months. his vet isn't much older than me. he asked me when i was moving. i couldn't believe he remembered.

hopefully the antibiotics will cure it.

in the last few weeks, i'm not even sure when it started...

i cannot get comfortable-

my arms fall asleep and begin to throb. my legs are restless.

at first i thought it was loneliness or maybe a curse for having been used to sharing beds...

i tried many partners; i tried loneliness-

this morning i awoke with a kink in my neck.

when life rushes by in memories better off forgotten, i can do nothing but stare. and i sit in the dark trying to forget everything as rain beats against the window frame. i scan through my call list but can't seem to dial anyone. tonight i'm in this alone. this darkness soaks up my tears and mascarra stains my pillow case ( Read more... )

i hate journaling. on the other hand, i love making banana bread.

i think my house is going to have a garage sale. at least I'M having a garage sale. i hope to make a pretty penny.
