The office cleaner’s thrown away my water bottle! Again!  It wasn’t even vaguely near the bin, but tucked neatly away with my hand cream and stapler on my desk.  For fuck’s sake.  Conversely, my colleague who lost a wad of student consent forms because he balanced them on top of his bin “for storage” has no excuse to complain.
