Long time no post. I hope the internet has greatly enjoyed my teenage rants! Unfortunately, I can no longer offer that kind of service. However, I'd be happy to offer you some adult rants now. -
Ugh
School and lack of interest.
This is exactly what happened last time. Can I really push through 3-4 more quarters and just get it over with...? Probably. If anything, getting it over with is motivation enough to stay.

I have self-esteem issues.
This morning I looked in the mirror and muttered "Gross" under my breath, in reference to a muffin top caused by too-tight pants (but needed to wear black jeans today, and that was my only pair). The world never fails to shock me.
So I was sitting in class the other day, a class full of people that are no younger than 20 years old. Most of us are 21-23. Except me, obviously, but I'm almost 21.

So I decided not to quit Fred Meyer. That and my boss is happy I did not quit. I did quit half my shifts basically, though. I'm going down to the bum amount of hours of 16. That's two days. Saturday and Sunday. Totally manageable. And as negative as the place makes me, I think I'll be able to get past that in small doses. That and an extra $200 per ( Read more... ) -
