I can't believe it's been 6 years since the 9/11 attacks. 6 fuckin years! Time has just flown by. 5 years after the attack, there I was in Kuwait, beginning a deployment that is a direct result of the attacks. Fast foward one year, where am I? Iraq, still on the SAME deployment. It's just crazy if you take the time to stop and think about it...

I'm usually good to go. But I'm just totally upset right now. Well, I don't know too many details, but Cass "Crash" got 7 staples in his head yesterday. Something about a diving accident. I guess the problem isn't swimming, just getting into the water. 7 staples, 41 stitches, countless scars. At least he's living up to the nickname. Wouldn't want to disappoint anyone.

I had to do a TCP, and at that certain gate I was on, only military vehicles were allowed to enter and depart.
