2nd Epic Storyline

Wow...this place really is something else. I've done a lot of observing since I arrived and took notes and tried not to flip my shit...this is a mangaka's dream come true.

And I haven't been cursed yet. Wonder how long my luck will last.

It's a downer that Saiko isn't here anymore, though. Will he get ahead of me at home? Will he want to move ( Read more... )

saikoooo, this is a fanboy, sup lady luck, surveying yon residents, kind of bummed

A mangaka? Trying to get inspiration for a new story then?

I like romance if I can find time to read, but I like a story that can work relationships into some kind of action/adventure. It definitely needs some kind of action! Otherwise I tend to lose interest if it can't keep me entertained.

....Vampire Knight. Yuuki Cross.

Something like that. Plus, I want to get a feel for the kinds of things the City's interested in.

...that's the only kind of romance I'll read, actually. Good call.

BLAME...Uh...poly and too much HMD. -_- guardianhime November 29 2008, 03:15:11 UTC
I think you'll find a lot of different opinions in the city. Some people have some pretty weird tastes.

What the heck was up with those people a couple days back. Seriously...I'm glad it was just a curse. Every time someone mentions manga now...

I like fairytales, and stories with happy endings!

And another from Fruits Basket...Tohru.

That's your standard girly answer.

Well they're just so cute! I'd rather have something that ends happily, because it can serve to give some form of hope, I think. I know not all fairytales necessarily end happily too, but um...I believe in re-writing those kinds of stories...so....so FAITO! They can end happily too!

...Disney already does that, you know.

Personally, I prefer the original Grimm's versions.

...Romance. No wait, I can't say that. I'd be out of character

Favourite genre? I prefer action/adventure

I tend to like mysteries and, ah... romance novels, I suppose. Nothing wrong with that.

I take it you're a writer?

Clow Reed. CLOW REED.

...You really like romance novels?

And yes, I am.

They're a guilty pleasure.

What about yourself, do you have a favorite genre to read or write?

I wonder if he reads them for the smut.

...To each his own.

I like science-fiction, intrigue, action...stuff that makes you think. But I do read a lot, just so I can see what's popular.

Oh, I'll read anything! But I like the fairy tales best.

Another fairy tale fan. Tell me you at least know the Grimm's versions.

primrosella November 29 2008, 05:04:50 UTC
Well, of course! The City Library has all sorts of collections of fairy tales--Grimm's, Andersen's, Perrault's--and I've read most of them.
