The school uniform doesn't fit.
Her wardrobe guys always handled this, had most of her outfits custom-made. The only reason Rise even knows her measurements is because they were listed in her public profile, and even then the company always fudged them. Like that small increase even made a difference, except to the sort of the guys that jerk off to her calendars and photobooks.
The skirt's the big problem. Way too short; the sort of thing Risette would wear. Or would've worn. School starts in a week, at least for Rise, so she'll either have to deal or return it to the store. Bought it in the city, too.
Rise carefully folds the skirt up and places it on her dresser, then flops on her bed, the television babbling in the background, and closes her eyes.
And on Niteline tonight, we'll be examining the events gripping Inaba over--There's no point in going back to school now anyway. Summer vacation is in a month. All she'll get before then will be exams on ( ... )

The customer's staring out the window. A young man, maybe her age, in a blue dress shirt and yellow tie. Wearing a hat, though Rise can see short dark hair poking out and framing his ears, standing out against pale skin.
He's cute.
"Um... hi," Rise manages, trying to sound casual but clutching the rag tight in her hands.
The boy turns his head, nods, then looks back to the window.
He can't be any taller than her and he's definitely slimmer, which makes this even weirder. Rise always liked tall guys, maybe with a bit of muscle - like the dancers in her concerts and the boys she worked with on television shows. Not that many of them were interested in her. Wrong gender. This guy might be the same way; he's pretty enough, prettier than most girls Rise's met. He could be a male idol, she thinks, then smiles to herself ( ... )

Rise sits on the edge of the bed, considers doing her homework - then quickly turns on the television instead. Niteline, again. Still talking about the murders. Maybe trigonometry isn't such a bad idea.
She's about to hit the power button again, when she notices who's sitting next the presenter on-screen.
"--involving public officials. Tonight we have here Naoto Shirogane, the Detective Prince whose looks are wowing the--"The boy who came to the shop, the one with the hat and the seriously bad attitude. The one who Rise's been looking out for but never sees in town. Who didn't even tell her his name, though at least she knows it now. Naoto Shirogane, ace detective ( ... )

Firstly, I love the pace! I'm glad it isn't any faster because I love the idea of seeing how their relationship will form and everything :> and sjslfjkdks I loved the short interaction between Rise and Naoto ♥ It was perfect! I love how Rise thinks Naoto's a jerk XD
Risette is old news to Inaba - probably because Risette is now a girl in an apron who spends most of her day hiding in the back of a tofu shop. Glamorous.
For some reason, I really liked this. (: I think you have Rise's voice just right, and I really enjoy a lot of little sentences like this.
I don't even djdlskdh I have no more words for the awesomeness here. I am SO happy you're filling this, anon! I can't wait for more~♥♥
