Wow. That was...visceral. The ending was particularly good - I could actually hear Luciano Pavarotti's voice in my head as I envisualised those final moments between her and her husband. That's quite rare! Well done.

Fantastic! Thank you, I wasnt sure if anyone would be able to actualy hear the music going along with the story. I knew something would be lost in this story for those who arent familiar with these two songs, but for those who are,I wanted to see if I could create musical effects as well as mood and atmosphere. This contest is my first attempt at putting what goes on in my head down for others to see, I hope everyone sees it as well as you!

Really nice work. It was very evenhanded throughout but picked up speed nicely at the end. I also read your "heavy" entry. Boy Howdy was that impressive. Your ability to be so concise yet so powerful in your writing is something I am trying to develope in myself.
