ohh, I love Legos! I've never been to a Legos store, though - I envy you! I really like the old space Legos. I have the Blacktron Message Interceptor base and another small Blacktron thing, and the Futron base and land rover, that's it. But I LOVE those sets. I am ALL about space Legos. :D My sister had some knight legos, and those were fun, changing out the armor and helmets and sheilds and things was fun - lego people with accessories! That's one thing Space Legos didnt have much of... you could change air tanks and helmets and that was about it. :P
Aww... try to find a Lego store sometime! They're neat 'cause they have a whole wall of bins filled with different sorts of legos, and for a fixed price you get a cup to fill with as many pieces as you can fit. Once I went on a transparent block rampage and got enough pieces to make a see-through castle. ^_^
Space legos rock! I have a whole bunch from this one set (can't remember the name, but the color scheme is mostly white/gray/black) and I also have a few Star Wars kits. Hehe. It might be a good thing that the space people don't have TOO many things to change around. The air tanks always bugged me because you had to pull off their heads, and if you do that too often, the heads get all loose and don't stay on as well. :P
ROFL! Well, I kind of know for a fact there are no Lego stores in Alaska and probably wont be in my lifetime - we don't have a lot of chainstores here... Like, we got Blockbuster Video just within MY lifetime, though we dont have one in my town. Same with stuff like SuperCuts, WalMart, Carls Junior, no Sonic, no Wallgreens, no QFC's, no Winco... Also no small chain department stores like Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Banana Republic.... We only got our first GAP 5 years ago or so, and JUST got our first American Eagle Outfitters (the ONLY clothes store I like) this year.
And yeah, it's the type of thing that goes in the paper when we DO get something new. :D
Once I went on a transparent block rampage and got enough pieces to make a see-through castleOMG! That is TO frikkin' cool! Do you have any photos of your creations? Aww, man, I SO want to play with Legos now
( ... )
Darn. Hm... well, next time you're out-of-state try to find one, then. :/
And yeah, it's the type of thing that goes in the paper when we DO get something new. :D lol! Aw. My heart goes out to you, man. I hope more chains decide to open locations up there!
OMG! That is TO frikkin' cool! Do you have any photos of your creations? Aww, man, I SO want to play with Legos now... ^_^ No... I wish I did. Taking pictures is a good idea. I always kinda miss the things I build after I break 'em down for parts again. Maybe I'll re-build my transparent castle this summer...
kind of like the AT-AT walkers from StarWars, only betterWow! Sound awesome!!! XD Props to you! Walkers are hard to make! I set out to make a mechwarrior sort of thing once, but I just couldn't get the legs right. Need different joint pieces I guess (or a better design). I wish I could've seen yours

Haven't played with them in far too long, though... *sigh* They're so darn expensive, it's not worth it. -_-;

*sigh* Yeah, they are expensive. The kits tend to be way overpriced. :(
