Well, that was interesting.

I can't say I didn't expect to hear a lot of whining and complaining when Vegeta, Vicki, and I went to the mall yesterday. Vicki usually gets a bit fussy for a while and Vegeta is always fussy the whole time we're there so I'm actually pretty used to it ( Read more... )

It was great having you stop over, yesterday, Bulma! I know ChiChi enjoyed it too!

I don't know why Vegeta hates the mall so much. They have lots of cool stuff at the mall, including TOY STORES! Maybe that's the problem, maybe he needed to go to the toy store?

I loved seeing the both of you, too, Gokou! It's been far too long since the three of us had a chance to talk.

And that could be. Everybody needs a new toy once in a while. Though he seemed content yesterday once he got his hands on those lemon squares...

Well, lemon squares are great, but once they're gone, you have nothing. Maybe Vegeta needs to get one of those vibrating chairs?

*laughs* Are we talking about that kind of toy store now? Honestly, Gokou, you were about the last person I expected to hear that from!

If you need need any help... dr_briefs February 10 2003, 19:15:24 UTC
just ask, I'd be happy to help. And from the sound of it, your working on something involving gravity manipulation. My experience building the Gravity Room could be useful. That and I'm almost done with my current project and I'm looking for something else to do.

Well, how do you feel about microgravity fields? That's what we need to come up with right now. If the idea sounds interesting to you, why not come over tomorrow evening and we can work on it together? It's been a while since we've had some good daddy-daughter science time!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you... dr_briefs February 13 2003, 17:24:28 UTC
but I got sort of caught up with finishing and testing Kitty's new toy. But the micro-gravity fields do sound quite interesting. I would love to help you with it. Maybe we could get together this weekend and work on it.

Great! How does Saturday afternoon sound to you?

Oh, how cool... piper_g February 10 2003, 19:50:55 UTC
Wow, Bulma, do you really think you could build a microgravity room? Thank you soooo much, that's so incredibly awesome of you!

Yes, I think from what I know of the specs, we can pull this off. I just need to know what size room we're talking about.

If I can't find what we need on the nets IGPol gives me access to, I can at least find the dimensions enough to sketch up a rough blueprint. Will that help?

And you know I'd be more than willing to help put this together, too!

Yes, that would be great. Once you get them organized we'll have to arrange a time when we can talk about what kinds of things we'll need to put this together. And an extra set of hands to help build is always welcome, too.

For now, though, I'm going to deal with gravity for a while. Or, more accurately, a lack thereof. No, the room is not broken, nor will I be happy if anyone breaks it, but Tanomi suggested a project to me about a week and a half ago that I think sounds like fun. Though once I get the science worked out I'll have a few people to ask about schematics.

Thanks, Mother. I can't give you much about the schematics, but you know I'll help you build it.

I'm glad Father was tolerable when you went out shopping Sunday. I don't think you'll ever get him to like the mall though. Must be a genetic thing, because I don't like the mall either.

Good. I'm looking forward to it.

And whether or not your father ever decides he likes the mall, he'll have to deal with it. Oh, how cruel a person I am, for making him go to the mall every once in a while. Honestly, you'd think it was almost as bad as a visit with "those infernal Carebear creatures".

Well, I'm not crazy about the mall either, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do, you know?

But I agree, Father makes it out to be much worse.

Vegeta is always fussy the whole time we're there so I'm actually pretty used to it.

Tell Grandpa if he doesn't stop being fussy you won't buy him a grape slushy and a cupcake. That's what Jifu used to do with me when I was just a BABY. Of course I'm more GROWN UP now and the mall isn't so bad.

Well, fortunately, he wasn't so much of a BABY this past time. But I'll be sure to keep that in mind for the next time we go.

Grape slushies are MAGIC, if you want to get someone to do something!
