Well, today is the cooking classes and I'm looking forward to it for two big reasons. The first that it sounds interesting and the second being it gets me out of work for awhile. I feel like I live here.

We're getting ready for the testing stage in R&D, of the new capsule, so we've been working our butts off trying to make sure the product is ready. I mean, some tests we won't know until we actually do test the product, but considering that we have to use living things to test it, we want to make extra sure everything is done as much as we can ( Read more... )

Well, Wednesday is my turn for dinner plans with Vez and Mikomi, so I've been trying to think of ideas and not having a whole lot of luck. So, I thought I should go to the source and talk to my daughter. Since she knows everything, I might as well take advantage of that, right?

This school Mikomi is going to seems a lot more serious than her last school. She has a fair bit more homework. But I've noticed something else, she doesn't seem to mind doing it as much. That's a really good sign to me.

Looks like LJ got hit by some hackers or something. I'm glad to see they're okay now, I was starting to wonder if we'd ever get through to them again. I don't understand hackers. What is the point of doing it? To show you can? That's stupid. All you do is piss off a bunch of folks and risk some serious trouble.

Well, I dropped Mikomi off at school today, for her first day. Yes, she got to wear pants this morning, so she was pretty happy. I guess it softened the blow a bit. But I think there was part of her that was eager to get started. I still have high hopes that this school is going to work out for her.

I'm not quite sure who's more upset about this, Mikomi or me, but her school was cancelled today, due to snow. So, I guess her first day is tomorrow. However, she sure didn't want to miss her training with Vez. I called Vez to make sure it was still all right for Mikomi to come over, and she said it was fine. I may have put myself into a little bit of debt getting this hot tub, but oh, is it worth it. The delivery came right after I dropped Mikomi off at Father and Mother's, so the timing was perfect.
