First day of school and she has it off.

I'm not quite sure who's more upset about this, Mikomi or me, but her school was cancelled today, due to snow. So, I guess her first day is tomorrow. However, she sure didn't want to miss her training with Vez. I called Vez to make sure it was still all right for Mikomi to come over, and she said it was fine. I'll be picking her up in an hour

There has been an awful amount of snow days at the schools in the area. I hope it doesn't make school drag out too long come spring time when they add those days missed to the end.

Well, if it happens, it happens. I'd rather see them not take the risk of having kids go to school if the weather is really bad.
