The Life And Times Of A Scheming Daughter.

Well, Wednesday is my turn for dinner plans with Vez and Mikomi, so I've been trying to think of ideas and not having a whole lot of luck. So, I thought I should go to the source and talk to my daughter. Since she knows everything, I might as well take advantage of that, right?

"Do you have any ideas for what we should all do on Wednesday?"

Well, you have to say one thing, at least Mikomi wants you to be happy. I mean, at least she's not trying to put you into a nursing home or something.

Heh, I wouldn't put it past her. She's got me half way in the grave already.

Well, if she starts talking about old folks homes, then I'd worry!

If I start seeing those pamphlets lying around the house I'll wonder. *g*

I like Mexican food and I like the idea of checking out that restaurant. I found a small Mexican restaruant once a few months ago, I wonder if it's the same place. And I definitely prefer the spicier stuff, if you didn't notice with the Thai food. *g*

I had feeling one of these times Mikomi might try to pull herself out of Wednesday nights so that we can go on a "date." I think you handled it pretty good. I'd feel bad if we left her behind.

And you can bring some of that Boston Market stuff for the three of us and we can eat it at my place tonight after I get done training Mikomi. I never had that before and you're kinda right about not feeling like cooking. See you soon.

I thought you might like the spicier stuff with the Thai food, but I wasn't sure. I've known people who might like one type of foods version of spicy but not another type.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Mikomi is going to try to scheme her way to getting us alone. You know, maybe we should go out some night (other than Wednesday of course) just to get her off the subject.

Of course that cracks open another line of questioning, but I think I can evade that.

Okay, I'll bring enough for three. I'll pick up chicken and meatloaf, so we have our choice. Any choices you'd like for side dishes?

Do you think going out like that would work? It's worth a try I suppose. We can make her think she's gotten what she wanted.

Any side dishes are good with me. I haven't had it before so bring whatever you think is good.

Well, it can't hurt. I know her, she won't give us a rest until we've gone out ALONE. *Cute dramatic music* at least once. So, when would be good for you, if you're willing?

That place is excellent! If I can't cook but want something homemade, that's my choice.

Have you tried their meatloaf?

Yes, I've had the meatloaf before. It's great. I like the chicken too. The place is perfect for me, cause I can fool myself that it's good, wholesome food!

But it is good food, to be honest.
