The hard drive with all my MP3s died last year. Died a hard death with absolutely no luck getting the info off of it--freezing it, pulling stuff with linux off, nothing. So I've been without MP3s for a year now. I should really do some ripping at some point so I can change my Ipod music...hrmmmm...

oh my...did i ever leave the wrong impression with that post! no no..darlin dear that was a call from a customer who wants our company to somehow magically fix their data so that they don't loose Friday's day worth of work.

Though honestly I have more sympathy for your mp3 prob. These guys are DBA's...they should know better.

I'm afraid I might be tempted to jump out of our 7th floor office window if I lost my music. Ok...maybe that's too severe...but I've got Bono on my PDA...
