also fourth'd...or fifth'd...or sixth'd...whichever.
Although this might be the prompt that I was looking for as an entrance to Souji/Yosuke stuff...it's fluffy and adorable and lovely and i just want to write it myself!
i-i can't make any promises, anons, but I'll see what I can do.
Seconded, thirded, whatever you want to call it. This is one of the most adorable prompts I've heard in a while and I'd love to see something come from it.
It kinda sounds like the sort of thing Scatter over on AO3 would write, now that I think about it. He's been writing a lot of Souji/Yosuke lately. Not that that's a bad thing.
Honestly, I don't care who writes it. I'd just be pleased with anyone's finished product.
This is a truly bizarre comment. Are you trying to tell us where to find S/Y stuff...are you hoping he/she reads the meme and will write this prompt if you namedrop them enough times like Beetlejuice...how do you even know what gender that author is? I DON'T GET IT. I have just never seen anyone comment like this before.
Conversely, it's your comment that I don't get. Other anon said three things: 1) they like the prompt and would like to have it filled; 2) thought it was something that scatter (probably their fave author) would write; and that, 3) they'd be pleased with anyone's product.
How it turned into namedropping, telling us where to find fics, etc., I can't understand and it just sounds to me like you've had a bad day, enough that a little irritation blew up for you to comment on it. I mean, what if the anon actually does know the author's gender? What part does that play here?
"I mean, what if the anon actually does know the author's gender?"
I had a look at the author's profile and their gender is not listed on AO3, DW, or anywhere else. If anon knows the author's gender, then they know the author personally, and should perhaps make the request to them directly.
I understand how anon above would have been rubbed the wrong way as it sounds like the first anon said they'd settle for an inferior fic, i.e. something not written by their preferred author. I don't think that's what they intended - I think what they intended is what you said - but it's the internet and misunderstandings happen.
I'm in love with my best friend
Someday, please let him love me too
