It was still dark when Yosuke jerked awake, and he chalked it up to a mix of nerves and anticipation. Souji was still tucked against him, soft and warm and fast asleep, and Yosuke held him tight, closed his eyes, and tried to imagine the best possible outcome he could hope for. In an ideal world, Souji would pound Matsubara into the ground, but brutality wasn't Souji's style. No, he'd probably try to talk to him instead, which was a huge fucking joke when Yosuke really thought about it. Matsubara wouldn't be interested in anyone trying to understand him, or in defending his actions, or even in talking about himself, which arrogant bastards like him always loved to do. He, for some reason, would only be interested in humiliating Yosuke as much as possible, which meant that if Souji left him any opportunity to talk, Yosuke would definitely not like what he had to say. Maybe he'd have to hit first ( ... )

after much dkghsdkgjsdg-ing i could not get ao3 to work with me the way i wanted it to so i am at last moving the story to a livejournal where it will remain indefinitely. ONE DAY AO3 I WILL CONQUER YOU. i suppose this de-anons me somewhat but since i don't use lj anymore it really... doesn't.

I gotta say, if only half the Persona fanfics I've read were as good as this one, I don't think I'd ever leave my computer (not like I do anyway, lol ( ... )

i think youre right about kids *irl* should be telling the cops BUTTTTT i think it would have been really ooc for yosuke to do that?? not only bc dojima is the police in inaba which would have been super awk for him but also that these kids beat a goddess man they probably think they can handle shit on their own.

and i would think kids would know fic is not rl.
