I'm happy to report that my missing drabble Muse has reappeared. Apparently she just needed the right kind of stimulant to come out of her hidey-hole, and what can be more stimulating than annwyn55's gorgeous bespectacled!Frodo, I ask you?:)

I keep having images and ideas that I'm sure would be make a lovely drabble or maybe a drouble, but as soon as I begin writing they inflate and hypertrophy uncontrollably, and I end up with a bloated thing that is not a drabble nor a fic or even a ficlet, but something in between. Like everybody else in LJ land, I succumbed to paranoia and set up an Insane Journal. Honestly, I don't know if I'll use it very often, but you can friend me over there if you want to. Isn't that icon gorgeous? It was made by the very talented and generous annwyn55, and I just wish I could use it more often than once a year. Fortunately, besides the fact that the icon is a delight to look at, it turned out to be somewhat inspirational...
