Now halfway through The Snow Leopard, and I've been alternating it with Fresh Air Fiend. The more I read, the more I want to write.  I still have so much to learn.

My hand rashes have gone and I'm almost back to life as usual.  I've started on my carpentry project again.  It's a nightstand.  Or a stool.  I'm not certain.

Yesterday I had to pick up a package of mine that was stuck in customs for inspection.  The declaration form my mother signed said "books", which was 80% truthful (my mother is fond of lying).  Actually, it was just supposed to be books plus the ergonomic keyboard/mouse combo that I won from Web Worker Daily.  But you know how offshore relatives ( Read more... )

I dreamt that Nikki J got a tattoo on her inner thigh near her crotch and she was showing the pics to everyone in the known universe.  Conversation from my dream:

Celine: Nikki! Stop showing your crotch to everyone! They might put it on the internet!
Nikki: You're so uptight! (continues to show the pictures from her cellphone to Mimay and co.)

Did not get that aviation writing gig.  This made me sad for a few minutes.  It's the first time I've been rejected in a while.  And I really, really wanted this gig.

Oh well.
