Hug your pets

I saw something on the highway involving an animal tonight that was so horrifying that I can't even write it down here. I've told myself that there was nothing I could have done about it, but that's not helping to get the image out of my head.

If you have a pet, give it an extra pat or hug tonight and make sure it's safe and knows that it's loved.

They're like almost twins! I love the way the other cat has a paw on her all possessive-like.

Thank you for that--it made my day. I'm so glad I was able to help her find a wonderful home.

Bert loves his 'mini-me'. You should see how thoroughly he grooms her (when she lets him) and how protective he is of her when the dogs are playing with her.

Yes, you are the kitty fairy godmother. You gave Maggie a happily ever after. =]
