Took the kitten to the vet Tuesday. The vet thinks he's (yes, it's a boy) is younger than I guessed--only about 6 weeks old. He weighs not quite two pounds, and although he has worms and fleas (both addressed by the vet), he's generally pretty healthy. Even the vet commented on how loud his purr is.

What did you call him?

He doesn't have a name yet. The most obvious one is Target, because I found him in the parking lot of a Target store. But I'm not sure if I like it.

I'm still getting a feel for his personality. Something may suggest itself as I get to know him better.
