I completely forgot about this picture, until, randomly, I was like, "what was my old lj again?" and I went there and I found it. I had forgotten about this day too, how could I, it was such a good one. Anna!! I want more pictures from this day! I want copies of all of them. They make me happy.

I decided 18 is a very strange age to be. Everyone suddenly expects you to be responsible, when you never really thought about being held accountable for everything in your life yet. Vacations are the springtime of the soul, and school is its winter. Right now everything is cold and dark; covered in ice and difficult to traverse. I think one of the worst things in the world is to see your friend cry. It doesn't matter why they are crying or for how long; nothing gets to you faster, or more effectively than seeing your friend with red rimmed eyes, tears streaming down her cheeks, and hearing that thickness in her voice with the little catch at the end of her words.
