Adapted Maangchi's Mul Naengmyeon recipe for a friend who can't have beef and subbed in pork shabu slices and added wintermelon in addition to the pear and cucumber. Success sort of achieved, by which I mean I need to plan better and cool the stock much much earlier; it still wasn't cold enough when I served it. Have ( Read more... )

Manga and noodle - great combo! anarch_kitty July 14 2016, 22:38:52 UTC
You still have an audience in me and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the manga updates! *HUGS* Also, I can probably get you the naengmyeon noodles from Australia. There's a huge Korean community here in Melbourne and quite a few Korean grocery stores. Send me a few pics of the brands you're looking for.

Wahaha can't believe ppl still read this! ^^;; Thanks and appreciated muchly.

I can get naeng myeon, was just doing the adult thing of would it be cheaper to ship the whole box in vs buying packet by packet. I can't overdo it because clearly parental units could not handle that much naengmyeon in their life. -__-;;

I read you ... *waves* ^__^

ahahaha ... yes ansasatsu! *cries*

hmmm have been intrigued by shokugeki no soma ... but hmmm I have too many other things vying for my attention, luckily the children are now teens, unfortunately they are teens and dealing with their moods is not easier than dealingwith a temper tantrum when they were three and two ... ahahaha and then I don't know what is worse ... when they double team up on me or when they're at each others throats.

Ok maybe it isn't QUITE as bad as that haha!

I enjoyo your manga updates too. ^__^ (and I track some of your recipes .. they're always interesting)

Where're you based nowadays by the way?

*HUGS* - enjoy your weekend.

Haha thanks! I'm still in Singapore, just still rather overwhelmed by work and all the extra side projects. Then I went for studying for 8 months, but that's done and I'm resettling in the same schedule but less side projects. So I do want to try and blog more regularly.

I'm always impressed with people who can deal with teenagers, and I can only cheer you on! It's also because I'm getting more time to me...or at least I'm more lazy now, so I read more manga instead ^^;; I don't even check facebook much or other social media, so yeah, you always give up something for something.

And for you too! Hope you enjoy your weekend!
