Ladyfingers ideas?

I made the PB&J Tiramisu from the latest Food Network magazine this afternoon (it's in the fridge chilling, but the peanut butter cream tasted awesome so I have high hopes). Problem is, I bought two packages of lady fingers and only needed one ( Read more... )

Macerated strawberries (or any kind of berry) and whipped cream.

Grind them up and make a cheesecake crust with them. They make a really nice crust with a neutral flavor.

Oh, and that PB cream is very close to a PB frosting I make. If you double the amount of powdered sugar, and reduce the cream, its the best frosting ever.

Dip them in your tea. They're a LOT like biscotti.

Strawberry shortcake would work: strawberries in syrup (slice the berries, add sugar, wait), sliced savoirda, and whipped cream.

Did you get the thick, crispy ones or the thin, soft ones? If you got the thin ones, I like to make little sandwiches with buttercream filling.

Thin and soft. I think this is the direction I might end up taking - at least that way they're easier to parcel out to friends so I don't eat the lot! Thanks for the idea!

Trifle! Just Google "trifle recipe" and hundreds will come up. I don't use a specific recipe but they're basically foolproof as long as you leave everything to chill for long enough.
