I'd been thinking about making a yarn tail for a while, so on wensday I worked on one for Tofu. I'm really impressed at how nice it looked! The yarn fluffs out when brushed and really looks like fur, and it keeps its bulk without needing to be stuffed full of batting like a sausage. Aww...on the drive to work, when we were passing the Triangle apartments, there was that whole flock of green parrots by the side of the road, all nibbling on some...gah, I've lost the word...that fleshy plant that grows along the side of roads? Just got back from Maus' sisters' wedding. It was very pretty! They held it at a summer camp place, and used a lakeside open-air theatre for the ceremony proper. Folks headed outside as the sun was setting, and the scene was stunningly pretty. Nice ceremony, a fun mix of tradition and modernity ( Read more... )
