I got in the light that I ordered from Shockwave. It's plenty bright, on the Really-you-don't-want-to-look-at-that-directly level. Sliiightly too big for the thing I want to put it in, but I have other ideas as well. It does some pretty flamey-flickery sequences that I like a lot as part of its 'grand tour' of modes; I wonder if there's a way to

I make and sell a flame only module. It'll be in the store in a few days, or if you want to just swap it out, I'll exchange for you.

Also, if you are careful, I'll ship you just a board and you can install it into something super compact. Be aware though that damp areas corrode the wires and conformal coating it causes it to melt down from internal heat that cannot escape. You'll have to keep it from shorting on stuff, but I trust your electrical chops.
