Argh! What an awful day. Just to sum it up, I spent most of it at the hospital with Rachel who was hooked up to an IV pumping antibiotics into her. Poor baby is SICK! Then I had to go pick up her presciption while it was sleeting outside. I then realized the car was low on gas, so I stopped to gas it up and didn't even have my coat with me ( Read more... )

Today was a weird day. A tractor-trailer went off the road, hit a bluff and exploded not too far from where I work. We were watching from our office windows and could see all the black smoke pouring up from the highway. They haven't reported anything about injuries, but I can't help thinking about the poor driver of that truck. Just awful. Here' ( Read more... )

A funny thing happened today. I was at the mall because I had a 7:00 hair appointment and decided to browse a bit first. I went to the Hallmark shop to see if they had the reindeer Webkin that Rachel wants for Christmas. It just so happens they had some in stock. I ended up skipping church this morning because Rachel was away at a sleepover and it was my one morning to sleep late.
