Last night I ate two of the chocolate and oats fiber bars, so this morning I awoke with a start and dashed to the lavatory. (I made it.) I figured while I was there, I'd go ahead and shave and shower and all that. It was still early and not quite light outside, and the dogs were still in bed

Oh yes, Pushkin is a stickler for The Order as well. If there are to be any changes he must be briefed, and if he is not briefed, then I usually get what you got from Zachy.

There is an exception - he's always been very attuned to when I'm unwell or upset and will look after me. So if, for instance, I am sleeping in because I'm unwell, he will make gentle, polite enquiries about how I am and then settle down next to me. If he ascertains that I am sleeping in because I simply want to, he will nag me to get out of bed because I am deviating from The Order.

Pushkin is a gentleman. My boys are not. My health and comfort are none of their concern. At least they have a healthy respect for my anger, although it must get to the point that I'm roaring like a bear before Chewie will recognize it. Zachy will go hide whenever I say Jesus Christ, even if I sing it.
