So much love for this entire post! And I'm right there with you on Leia. (but I only have a Yoda icon)

But Yoda does a SW icon make, and that is the important part. ;)

I meant to ask you - have you seen the film Floating Weeds by the director Ozu? It is just a gorgeous, gorgeous film - and it struck me as something you would like.

Thank you so much for this great post! I am with you on Magua - there are so maany great actors and characters in "The Last of Mohicans" but he is just unforgettable.

Magua is in a sense one of the driving forces behind the whole film, and the way Wes Studi plays him with such proud, silent menace just strikes a cord with me. Of course it helps that the scene with Magua, Uncas and Alice at the promentory is one of my favourite scenes of all time. ;) (ooohh..that would be fun - ten favourite scenes from films. *ponders*)

Oh baby, you know I'm gonna steal this. :DDD
As for your choices... Well they basically prompt me to go out on a lim and say it - Man, I love you! Hahahaha... :)

Yes, yes! Steal it! I'd LOVE to see a list of your favourite characters.

And what can I say other than "thank you". *blush*

I'm embarrassed to say I haven't even seen a number of these movies. In fact, I haven't even heard of a couple of them. ::hides::

No, no - don't feel embarrassed. This is just me geeking out. :) If it's any consolation I think the list is inspired by my films studies, and particularly a course I took on Japanese film which was just amazing. (cue obligatory recommendation of "Harakiri" for any one who hasn't seen it. It features samurai, but basically it is about humanity and decency - and it is just a gorgeous film all together)
