So you're driving along - on your way home from somewhere from dropping off something for a friend - and you see this kid walking along the street pulling along one of those rolly suitcases and wearing a t-shirt that says "Will Work For Food" - couldn't tell if it was printed on the shirt or if he had written it, etc... He's probably 8-10 years

Since I am a teacher, that automatically makes me a mandated reporter in all 50 states, so I would be legally obligated to call the police or social services.

Wow. I'd probably call the police. I mean, I hate that idea but he's too young to be out by himself. They might be able to refer him to a shelter.
